No matter how blissful a marriage may seem, there comes a time when it starts to feel like a job—a job you can’t quit!

In the beginning, everything seems perfect—your goals, likes, and dislikes all align. But soon after tying the knot, you might start to feel like strangers, struggling to get along. There are days when you just can’t seem to agree, and frustrations bubble over. On tough days, you exchange sharp remarks, cutting each other down.

These days can be overwhelming. Emotions run high, and all you can think about is quitting this “job,” where you feel like you’re always falling short of each other’s expectations.

What do you do on such days?

On those days, you stay Reluctantly Married. Why? Because tough times pass. And on the other side, there are days full of love, hugs, and little surprises that remind you why you’re in this together.

Of course, there are valid reasons to leave a marriage—cheating, domestic violence, mental harassment, disrespect, dowry, marital rape, and so on. In such cases, never reluctantly settle for the fear of society or loneliness. Leave and get the justice you deserve.

But just because marriage gets hard and feels like a job some days doesn’t mean you forget the little things your partner does to make you happy on the good days.

Like remembering that one thing you mentioned in passing months ago and surprising you with it during sale days.

Yes, that counts too.
